Artistic process & Curatorial Practice & Research

My work investigates the evolving relationships between the body, materiality, and the digital realm, grounded in the conceptual traditions of European contemporary jewellery that I engaged with during my training at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. This foundation informs my continuous exploration of material languages, the social life of objects, and wearing as an act of critical dialogue.

A consistent conceptual thread connects all phases of my research and creation:
- At Politecnico di Milano, I placed the micro-narratives of jewellery in dialogue with the macro-systemics of fashion, developing a critical framework for deconstructing cultural production.
- Through doctoral research in London, I expanded the “bodily” presence of jewellery and the “spatial” tactics of curation into virtual dimensions, working toward a poetics of post-digital experience.

Beyond crafting wearables, I construct critical models of **body ecology**. Using the intimate narrative capacity of jewellery, I examine shifting identities, values, and perceptions; through fashion’s systemic lens, I reflect on production and consumption rituals; and with curatorial methods, I transform these inquiries into accessible, immersive narratives for the public.

A central long-term initiative is the  *Meta-Body Virtual Museum* — a conceptual jewellery laboratory that extends, yet transcends, the intellectual heritage of European contemporary jewellery. Conceived as hybrid research-exhibition space, it fosters both physical artefacts and digital assets, academic critique and participatory public engagement. This project aims to offer a sustainable and provocative paradigm for future discourse on bodily adornment.

I am committed to constructing socio-technical systems that stimulate sustainable thinking and new ideas. As an artist and curator, I strive to unite conceptual depth with narrative experimentation—building bridges between critical making and public sense-making.
